I really think I need to add a set of ivory grips to my 97 45 Colt. It is the round but 4 1/4 inch and currently is wearing a set of black micarta grips from the factory. I think I would like a set of ivory grips scrimshawed with a game animal. I was thinking maybe even a cougar or a wolf would look sharp. Does anyone have something like this? Who did the work for you? And how does the scrimshaw hold up over time? Pictures please if possible. Thanks!
