anyone have their barrels tapped for tru-glos?

im had gotten out of the handi game for awhile, but after returning back and reading all these posts i just have sooo many ideas floating around in my head! has anyone taken say.... a .308 survivor and had the barrel tapped for tru-glo open sights? i think that would make a neat little deer gun. i also decided i am buying a .44 mag and putting a 1-3 weaver on it! got a few things im gonna trade into the shop for it!

I assume  by truglo you are refering to the 3-dot fiber optic sights.  They come on the huntsman.  I have them on my huntsman and also with see thru rings on my 445 supermag.  They are awesome to me.  I know few here like see thru rings, but to me, hunting in the thick stuff that I hunt occasionally, they are a necessity.  Who cares if I am off by a couple of inches at 30 yards.  The vitals on a deer are a good 9 inches.  Give em a try.
