Winchester M70 feeding problem
«

Winchester "ranger" M70 with the wood stock & blind mag. I'm having an issue with the follower not pushing the rear of the cartridges high enough to be pushed forward by the bolt. The are stopping with the shoulder up against the feed lips but the case head isn't. This issue occurs on feeding from both sides of the magazine. I've already stretched the mag spring but that hasn't helped yet. Any suggestions on what to tweak on next?

I would get a new spring and try that.

Brownell's sells an "Extra strength" spring. It makes a difference!
