9.3x62 and upcoming Moose hunt....
« on: September 18, 2007, 03:05:32 PM »
Just about got the 286 gr. Nosler Partitions loaded for my CZ-550 in a 9.3x62.  Leave on the 7th of Oct. for a fly-in hunt in Ontario.  If I get a shot I am interested to see if it thump's him like it did my Big Black Bear in Manitoba two years ago.  I have become very comfortable with this 20" barrel full stock.  This is one of my most accurate rifles.  Getting excited as the hunt approaches.

Good luck in Ontario, B.F.

Put the smack down on that elk!  We are lucky to be hunting with this fine weapon and load.

Good Luck.........Buckfever

"Ah, well, that's huntin'."  That's right - if we were guaranteed to bring home something every time we went, it would be called killin' instead.   ;)

If it makes you feel better, I've been deer hunting 4 days so far this year and have not yet seen a buck to bring home.   :(  Come doe days....   I probably won't even see one of them.  :-[

Great equipment, excellant rifle and load, plus no Moose seen equals NO MOOSE!!  Therefore no data.  The saga continues.       Buckfever
