Fair Buy ??

Am looking at a Marlin 30AS in 30-30 in about 70% condition.  Also has a Weaver 4x scope attached?  Is $200 a fair price to pay for this when buying from a co-worker?

sounds like a great price to me. I paid $150.00 for my 30AS without a scope a few years back. its a great gun nuthin fancy but shoots great.

Sounds about right to me. When I am buying from someone I know, I pay about halfway in between what a dealer would give for it and what a dealer would get for it. I ain't gonna overpay and I ain't gonna have someone I have to deal with regularly thinking I screwed him.

All bets are off with strangers and dealers, though.
