Rem 700 Boone & Crocket
« on: December 22, 2007, 01:05:41 PM »
Man, another rifle has caught my eye. This is never good. The lam stock and blue fluted barrel sure do look good.

As I sit here eatin a bowl of elk chili , all I can think of is "WHAT CAL.''

For you, I don't know because it sounds like you have the Elk part of the equation covered.  ;D

That is one sweet looking rifle.    Probably my favorite that Remington has come out with yet.  I think that you'd probably have to get one in all caliber's offered to be completely satisfied!   ;D

The CDL with the SS fluted is one of my favorites. But I think I can find room in my heart (safe) for a Boone & Crocket.

Yeah me too.

;D ;D ;D  We know he likes the gun, no point in agonizing over the caliber if you just get them all.  It's the easy way to decide!

Might be but then its hard to choose scopes and which one to hunt with.

I picked one up this summer in .30-06, even with factory loads it's definitely a shooter!

I wish they made it in a 308. I would be all over one in 308. I shot a customers in 30-06 and it shot nice, about 3/4" at 100 yards with a little wind blowing.
