wonderful bunch

I would just like to say that this site has a wonderful and helpful bunch of participants.  Just last week my dad was in Portland, OR looking for parts for a youth stock project we are working on and he ran into one of you at Sportsman's who proceeded to help him pick out a recoil pad and directed him here to get more help with the project.


Thanks again for all of the useful  help and info. ;) ;D

Welcome aboard.  It is a wonderful family here and like most families, it seems everyone tries to watch out for each other.  Even when one of us loses our common sense about a project.  Others are quick to point out the potential problems and offer suggestions to help us keep all of our fingers and eye sight   ;)

I agree, there may be some discussions goin' on, but I think everyone is looking out for someone or maybe even the reputation of a Handi in a few cases, but no one gets put down and can feel free to put an idea out there to get kicked around. ;) That is what makes this sight so good.

T'weren't me Roscoe, unless it was at the Vancouver store, I haven't been to the Portland store since the Vancouver store opened last year. I have told some store employees and a few fellow shooters there about GBO at both stores tho, a couple times standing in front of their nice selection of NEF/H&Rs, I check out their inventory everytime I'm there. I spose I should talk to the manager about them becoming a GBO sponsor, dunno if a national chain would be interested in that, but couldn't hurt.  ;)
