WIN 296

[ONE HOLE 4570]

Have some 296 & lil gun to try with the 45 colt with 250 xtp. I have data for the lil gun for the 250's but only have data for 296 in the 300 gr load. Have an e-mail in to hornady & winchester but no word back yet. It's the week end & wanted to do some loading. Anyone have some data in one of there load books. May need to pick another one up thought I had all I needed .

These are for the t/c ruger level loads (not new vacaro)

I went through this with GB awhile back ( He was right ) and according to Hodgdon , H110 and Win 296 are the same powder and have been for some time now , so the data for H110 will work .

Per Hodgdon's web site the load your looking for is 25.7 to 26.5 grains for the Hornady 250 gr. XTP .
