Anyone shooting the new wsm guns and what caliber?

Winchester Coyote with the 270 WSM. After buying the rifle, my first five shots went into .85 inch at 100 yards with Winchester 150 PP. I shot my deer with it at 15 yards. The bullet didn't blow up, but there was some powerful hydrostatic shock.

I think that I will use the rifle for antelope or load it with the 160 grain bullets for larger animals.

I considering a short magnum for a 1000m target rifle, perhaps in a Rem. short action 7mm or 30 cal. From what I've read so far the velocities tested by the manufacturers are hard to repeat in sporting rifles, especially in barrels 24 inches and under. I' m not sure how well they work with longer bullets.

As far as target shooting goes, these short magnums' resemblance to the famous BR line of cartridges is hard to ignore.
