When you guys are loading for your handi's do you use full-length sizers or neck size only. I am having some case sticking problems with my 280, when they have been neck sized a few times. Thanks

Because of the ability of a Handi action to strech a little most people say to full length size for them.  Larry

As Larry said, you need to at least partial full length resize, enough to push the shoulder back just enough so the sized case fits flush to the chamber mouth, or is a tad higher, depending on the barrel to frame gap. ;)

 ;) Hi Chad,

I have 2 Handi's. A .223 and a .243. I had the same problem with the .243. I found that 2 times of neck sizing was all I could get before I had to full length size. Make sure that the brass fits flush with the chamber when resized. If not, it will stick after being fired.
It will chamber OK but stretches upon firing. Also, make sure that the chamber, shoulder and throat area are clean and dry. A little bit of Gun Scrubber on a patch will do the trick. Any oil residue will turn to carbon when fired and cause sticking. Size and trim to length and you should be OK. If your action does not lock solid when you close it your cartridge is over length for the chamber and it will stick and you will have to get out the cleaning rod to pop it  out. It is a pain in the proverbial ass. I hope this helps. This is what I have found. Let me know if this cures your problem.

Tony

Coat the case with a felt tip and insert into the chamber to see where it's binding.

That should give you a good starting point in making it fit right.

Good luck,
