I have one and it has been a great gun. The spring is really heavy, there for it will not shoot 2 3/4 shells, of any type, unless they are slugs. It handles 3 and 3.5 inch shells really well. After about 200 rounds of 3" it will start to have ejection problems, but that just means it needs a cleaning, like any other autoloader. But 200 rounds of magnum isn't something that happens too often at all.
It is a great gun made for hunting with magnum shells. I would buy it again for that purpose. It is not a plinker, as it will not cycle with shorter shells. The size makes it handle big loads really well also. For the money, I dont think you are going to find a better super-mag autoloader.
Your shoulder will dislike you if you try and impress your friends by firing four 3.5" shells as fast as humanly possible, cause the gun will work as fast as your trigger finger.
