Sight Wobble
« on: May 22, 2007, 07:05:30 AM »
The rear sight on my new 686 has some forward/back and side-to-side wobble in it. Is this normal for a new gun? I'm thinking about replacing it with either a Weigand Competition rear sight blade or a Millet rear sight.  I don't know what size to get or which is better. Anyone know anything about these sights?  How wide is the gap in the factory S&W sight? Ill leave the front sight alone if nothing needs to be done to it.

Sounds like normal tolerances unless it's too excessive?
