I have been looking for a long time and can't find what I want. Plenty of boot knife styles out there, but they all seem to be lacking in the sheath area. I want a sheath I can lace into the side of my riding vest and it will hang upside down. Therefore, first, I need gromets for the laces; not a real problem with a lot of sheaths. Second, a strong scabbard. If (shudder) I come off my bike I don't want the blade to go through the sheath into my armpit! Third, a secure retaining method. The knife is hanging upside down. I don't want it to come loose and fall out. Has anyone seen anything that would fill this bill?
