Shotshells in slug barrels?
« on: April 28, 2007, 01:34:05 AM »
Will it damage a rifled barrel to shoot regular lead shot through it?  Thanks, reb(Al)

No it will not cause damage but will cause some leading. But it will give very very poor patterns. The spin imparted by the rifling will cause the pattern to be huge. I believe the the term is centrifugal force.
