Ruger 204 loads
« on: March 28, 2007, 01:43:02 PM »
Anyone using Lilgun powder when they reload their Ruger 204? If so, do you have a suggestion for a suitable load?
Thanks,
John B.

Hodgdon shows no Lil'gun data for the .204, so I doubt it's suitable for it, neither is Lil'gun used in any of the data listed by bullet makers at 204Ruger.com

Most of the 204 shooters I know or heard of use BL-(c)2 or varget.
Bunch P. dogs use those. Marv.

As you may have guessed I am new to this reloading stuff. I had some Lilgun for my hornet and now I need some Varget for my Ruger 204.
Thanks,
John B.

My best loads have come from h4895, personally the one test string I had done with varget was only OK. good results from bl(c)-2
