Jim,
I searched and all I could find was references to 10/22's and Remington rifles.  What type of gun are you looking to put it on?

jim dab:  go to our Sponsor List on the GreyBeard Home Page (left hand side of page) - there is at least one gunstock maker there and they may have what you are looking for.  Check out our sponsors first.  Mikey.

Mikey: I just e-mailed them lets see.
Cement Man: It's a 6.5 project thus the Mannlicher stock. Probably a CZ action. Bottom line, shooting only 160gr bullets, 2950 - 3000 ft/sec; non-belted, control feed, looks like a 6.5 Ruger

Since Gunstocks, Inc. doesn't do them you might try Boyd's. They are probably the largest of the current after market stock guys these days. In fact they supply much of the Remington stocks now and I think ALL their laminated ones to include the Model 7 MS from the Custom Shop.

Bill:  Found their website but unless I'm missing something they don't have a e-mail address for questions. I'll have to wait and call them this week. I poked around their site for a while and the only thing I could find on Mannlicher stocks was in the search area and it was a solid walnut one, I think. Watch I'll go through all this trouble to find a stock just to find out that I have to have a 26" barrel to get the velocitys I want and a Mannlicher looks funny on a barrel that long. I've e-mailed Kerby Allen about this project and he thinks we can do it with this cartridge, 6.5 Ruger. I should have asked him before what would be the shortest we could get away with on barrel length.

Thanks again Bill

P.S.
Bill: Thanks for the line on the Remington, I just looked at it. Just what I'm looking for. I think Leupold's 1.5 - 5 X 20mm on top should finish it off great.  :P

Jim: Serengeti Stockworks does make the mannlicher stocks, in a laminate. To see the kind of work the company does, go to www.serengetistockworks.com and under prices, scroll down to the blue mannlicher and click on it. You will see and example of the stock, completely finished. I might warn you, these stocks are expensive. Tom Purdom

OK....Wow!! The Cadilac of laminates. As for price, well I guess just look at any of the solid blanks even before the carving. Thanks.
