Is there a folding stock for the NEF/HR
« on: March 10, 2007, 05:51:26 PM »
I've been told that some shotgun folding stocks will work but I haven't seen the details yet. The local gun dealer said its legal as long as it stays over 26" in length folded.

I dont know about folding stocks, but ATI makes a collapsable stock just for the Handi.  It looks just like those available for the AR-15s.  They have other accessories available as well such as heat shields.  It all seems a bit odd for the Handi.  Except the collapsable stock, combine that with a shortened barrell , say 18 inches, and you would have a very compact and portable rifle for a backpack.

The ATI stock would be the worst stock for a firearm with any recoil, there have been many complaints about it being toy like in construction, I certainly wouldn't recommend it even then. Just ask neckringer what he thinks about collapsible stocks! :-\

Ouch! That had to hurt. I have seen that style stock before but its not for me. I have seen pistol grips with adapter plates to mount on different shotguns but I have not seen the same for folding stocks. ???
