Siamese project
« on: February 16, 2007, 06:19:01 PM »
I finally did it..I found a Siamese Mauser at GunBroker for around $150...Though it is missing the floorplate and follower, it promises to be my next custom project...I am going to send it to E R Shaw to be reworked to a 45-70...I have seen one or two others for around $300 on Auction Arms and Gun broker, so if anyone is interested, you better snag one...They won't be around and are real hard to come by in decent shape...I will probably get a decent stock from Richards Microfit while the action is out getting done...Will post those pix in about three months.

Good luck with the Siamese! I have two in the shop now and one is missing the EXACT same things as yours. Good luck finding the correct ones. I have been looking for some time now to no avail.
