Barrel order ?
« on: February 21, 2007, 02:11:04 PM »
I'm ordering two barrels for my Handi and one for my wife's.  I have only a copy of the 2006 order blank to work with. The question is I want trigger jobs on both rifles. Should I just ask for this to be done and do I need to include any fee's?
Thanks in advance

They've started charging for trigger jobs, but that may depend on how light it is, if it's over 5lbs, they probably won't charge, but they have charged one person here that I know of. Ask em nicely on the order form to do it, if they need to charge for it, they'll call ya if you aren't paying with plastic. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask em either, stuff changes.

Presently both receivers have 45/70 barrels. I'm thinking of a 444marlin and a .223. My wife wants a 270.

The .444 Marlin barrel won't be available for a few months yet, they won't start on .444 barrel production for another 3 weeks, the accessory barrels come available sometime in the spring, early summer.

I'm in no hurry as long as they get back by October.
