Gunsmith recommendations?
« on: February 20, 2007, 04:28:53 AM »
i don't have a good local gunsmith and if you send it in the mail proximity doesn't matter. Any recommendations on gunsmiths you know and trust?  I am only looking for chamber work and barrel shortening with a re-crown. Addresses and/or websites would be appreciated.

Wayne York does mine, but expect at least a 2 month wait.

And another +1 on Wayne

He is doing a .223 to .220 Swift rechamber on a handi for me, but he was at 12 a week wait when I sent it in about a month ago.
