Considering a 30.30 handi-Rifle and would later like to buy the Buffalo classic 45/70 bbl. will the 45/70 bbl fit the 30.30 frame?

yes sir it will.  the sb2 receiver (which the 30 30 will have) will work with all centerfire rifle and shotgun barrels, minus the ten gauge and heavy slug barrels.  these few have a seperate receiver.

Don't be so sure  ;). Once you really start thinking about it, you may end up down the same road as most of us. You begin to realize that there isn't much cost difference between the NEF barrel program and a new rifle, and hey they're small.  So you get another rifle instead of just the barrel, and next thing you know you're a handi-holic. ;D

Thanks. I think I see a plan coming.
