Ultra 22-250 Loads
« on: January 14, 2007, 10:27:50 AM »
Can anyone tell me what handloads seem to be shooting the best out of their Ultra 22-250's. I just got mine and am trying to work together a load for it. I loaded up a box of 50gr V-Max's . Shot well, but I can see right off that this little gun doesn't like a lot of pressure, as I now read in the forum. I scoped it with a Pentax Gameseeker 4x16x50 with a set of Warne rings. Any help would be appreciated.

So far, 50gr Vmax and 33.5gr H4895 in my fluted Ultra shoots best, not fast, but just under 1", and a nice clover leaf. ;)
