Hi All.

I have a marlin 39 sn 10xx with a small c in front of the number,been trying to find the date of manufacture.The c dont regester with the numbers,I know the records for Marlin arent to good.The 10xx comes up for 1883.

If you go to www.marlinfirearms.com, they have a discussion board called "Marlin Talk".  Click it on and you'll see a forum called "Marlin Collectors".  Those people are sharp on these things.  Found out mine was a 1937 mf'gd rifle.
