It's Talo Productions Golden BC, no longer made apparently, their web site doesn't come up in a search for me, but Davidson's shows a pic of it.

There were only 300 Golden Buffalos' made.
I got lucky and got #247, (lucky because it was the only BC I'd ever seen, I thought they were all like that).
Pretty as it is, I'm gonna try and get it bloody this spring  ;)

Just depends on what you value, they only made 300 of em, they are pretty, but they'll only be worth that to folks willing to pay for the engraving and to own one. Personally, I think that's about $200 too much, but that's just me. :D

Thanks Dave,

I have a 9 mo old Springer, b&w 2-tone model. He has a nose that's amazing, and he works it all the time. Loves to play "find". Wish I had a field to go with my field dog, he deserves one. Can't imagine living without him now.

Congrats on the Brittany, they're beauties.

Grizz

PS: Sorry, sort of, about hijacking the thread. Just for late info, my BC seems to love the BTB 425gr piledriverjr at slow to middling velocities. Accurate and easy to shoot.

Two of my BCs are the "Gold" model.  They seem to go for about $480 right now.  I paid $425 and $440 for mine, yes I know, way too much, but I am a sucker for the Special Editions.  Do I think they are worth more than $100 over the Standard BC?  NO, but like I said, this is an area where I am a sucker.
