Grandson Gets 1st Deer
« on: December 03, 2006, 03:20:45 AM »
Youngest grandson turned 12 on Thurs, and got his first deer license.  On Friday morning he shot his first deer with his youth model in 243.  It was a buck fawn, one shot both lungs.  Very cool morning temp about 20 and 10-15 mph winds from the nw.  He was one very happy boy.  Now all 4 of my grandsons have killed thier first deer with  H&R Youth models that I bought them for graduating from Hunter Safety.  Makes me proud.
