I'm not a big Buck fan, even though I do own a basic Vanguard, but these really impress me. The PBS would be ideal in the woods while hunting and the perfect field dressing knife. The other Alaskan Guide Series Bucks are also impressive with the cryo treated S30V steel and the coated blades. Anybody got one of these? They have been out a couple of years I think.

Have the Cabela's Alaskan Mini-Alpha Hunter----great little knife----the coating almost seems like blueing on a gun.

I bought the Cabelas Alaskan guide 110 folder with the s30v blade. Its a dandy knife.
shot placement is everything.
