Taurus 669 questions
« on: October 29, 2006, 06:51:25 PM »
I just aquired a taurus 669 .357 revolver. I took it out and shoot it and to my dismay it shoots quite alot to the left of where I am aiming. I thought no big deal I will adjust the rear sight, the problem is it was already adjusted as much as it could be. After looking things over it looks like the barrell rib is not perfectly centered with the notch on the frame. If I were to turn the barrell slightly clockwise it would line up with the notch and move my front sight to the left which I think would solve my shooting to the left problem. I don't see how that could affect the barrell to cylinder alignment. Anbody here ever try anything like this.
