Not Bad at all
« on: November 07, 2006, 05:30:54 AM »
I own a .243 with a 22 HB Handi-Rifle. I put a Bushnell Banner 6-18x50 scope on it and intend to shoot Varmints with it. Specificly Coyote harassing some Dairy herds.
The real story is this I took a nice 115-120 lb Doe this past weekend near Aitkin MN. Man was I pleased with that first time hunting with that rifle.
All in all I really like what I got. 2 questions....
First, Has anyone ever had a problem with the ejector sticking? this happened when I was tuning the scope and I had to pry the shell out with a Gerber Multi-Tool. Seems to work now that I've gone through it with a thourough cleaning.
Second, Would you get the accesory Muzzleloader Barrel or just buy an inexpensive CVA ML?

Polishing the chamber usually fixes that problem.   See the FAQ Sticky.  :)

Yes, but it was on my rimfire M2 Sportster.  If his problem is the same as mine I don't think it has anything to do with polishing the chamber.  Mine was sticking without any ammo in the rifle.
