This guy has been banned effective immediately. His IP address is the same (SBC Internet Services of Leavenworth, Kansas) as that of Fireman.  The personal family info may well have come by way of BM as he knows them and I'm aware (from a previous thread) he conveyed this info to Fireman.  There may well have been some lines crossed that could quite possibly be a LE and/or civil cause for action situations.  It is regrettable things escalated to this level but when a person's family (especially minor children) are brought into something of this nature, appropriate action has to be taken.

All information is logged and available to you as per the GBO TOS. It is my recommendation that you file with the proper authorities and pursue this matter legally.

My initial gut feeling on this guy was right. He was here only to cause problems. Matt traced it down and he was in fact the same person posting as fireman. He has now used three different IP addresses and Matt has all three banned. John if you need the others for any actions taken let me know and I'll provide them.

I will be removing all his posts and the responses to his posts from that thread and moving it back here to this forum as soon as I can. I just need to make sure I preserve the posts of his for any possible legal actions that might come from his antics.

No doubt he is a real class act.

It will be interesting to find out if his employer's computer was involved as it will definitely add a new dimension to this scenario.

I did a Google search and that definitely is a City of Leavenworth computer addy.

BTW, Oklahoma is a comparative negligence state so whomever furnished this info to him may have some issues as well.

Talk about lame.  It amazes me how rude and inconsiderate people can be over the internet.  Hopefully we can get some "decent" discussion going in the future.
