T/C Lock Springs
« on: October 23, 2006, 12:18:08 PM »
I have 2 T/C Renegades both are in need of new lock (hammer) springs.

Will T/C replace them without sending the whole rifle back to them?

I don’t want new locks just new springs, The last time I sent them a rifle to repair it came back worse than it went out because they replaced the lock including a new hammer and it didn’t line up right.

Or is there someplace I can buy new springs?

Just call TC and get the springs...they might even mail them to you for free...worse case they're probably only a buck or so apiece.
As one who has had a housefull of TC Hawkens for years and use them heavily, I've never had a spring problem...curious what problems you might be having...

They just don't seam to have the power or speed they once had, and on my older 4 digit rifle I think the spring is broken, I havn't taken it apart yet to look.
