Bigfoot Posts

Seems like this thread has kinda died: there are no recent posts.  Is Bigfoot hibernating?

I was having fun there for a while (1) going out to the woods at night looking and listening and (2) reading posts.  I even made a few posts.  Maybe if I rehash a couple of things, it will revive interest.

First, sometime back I posted on an experience while BF hunting with DG and T'grandson.  It involved an unsual smell that wafted across our fire sight for a brief moment of time.  I characterized it as a like that of a wet horse.  Jokingly, I commented that either T'grandson had let one or a wet horse had tippy toed past the came.  I heard nothing.

Second, an another occasion while BF hunting with DG and T'grandson, I did hear something.  I believe that T'grandson mentioned this in one of his posts.  We were camped on a creek near a lake when I/we heard footsteps in the water and a splash.  Frankly, we are uncertain among ourselves whether the splash was before or after the steps.  But the steps--I believe there were four--were CERTAINLY produced by a bipedal creature.  It CERTAINLY sounded that way. There was no indication that any other people were in the area.

If the splash was before the steps, I could theorize that something jumped into the water, making the splash, caught something, perhaps one of the large Gar that were surfacing all over that night, and then walked back to the bank.  If the splash was after the steps, I could theorize that something waded into the water and made the splash catching something.

We were in the position of hearing something that we were not expecting and not immediately realizing that we were hearing it--which is why our memories are uncertain about the sequence of the splash and steps.  But something was wading in that creek!

I think the reason things are slow is because it`s mating season and "all" are busy.

Jpred1 and Savage .250.

I would like to hear from Bulletmaker myself.  I've been intending to drop over to his place and see what he is up to, but I just haven't done.

As for this possibly being the Bigfoot mating season, maybe.  But wouldn't they be more likely to expose themselves during mating season than at other times?

Just mullin'

I think they`ve gone hi-tech. Now they rent a room.  Hence the lack of exposure

I would like to hear from Bullet Maker but really don’t expect to because his last visit here was on
5\12\2006. If he was hanging around, he would have had to log-in just to check his PM if nothing else.
IMO-There was just too much muddy water & mis-understanding under this bridge for him to return.

I would suspect that BM is still manning his cameras. His procedure was intense as the camera was set to capture additional movement asap. He was going through a lot of film and getting a lot of duplicate pictures but he wasn’t going to miss the opportunity that a 15min setting would cause.

If a good verified picture did surface on the national scene, we would never know if it was him unless his name—Doug Bilby…..or Billings? (help) was mentioned.

Ray Ford-You might go over there and see if you can get that old boy back here as time can heal wounds. I don’t really expect it to happen as I have already said but respect Doug’s views and wish him the very best.

I told BM to go digital ,he could set it for every 1 minute or so.My digital game cameras have paid for themselves twice already and deer season isnt even in yet.For developing prices and he probably still uses reg. batteries,he could be spending tons on pics of trees blowing in the wind.I use the moultrie cameras with 6 volt rechargables and 256 g scandisk.
