.45 ACP cylinder for Vaquero...

Where would one look for such an animal? I've considered getting a stainless Vaquero in .45LC if an ACP cylinder can also be obtained. Thanks.

You could check with all the major pistolsmithing houses, and e bay or auction arms.  I fitted a blue steel cylinder to my stainless bisley vaquero and dont really care if someone is offended by my 2 tone sixgun!  I am also having it cut for the 45 AR for maximum versatility.

Ruger used to fit ACP cylinders to Blackhawks aftermarket.  Won't hurt to check with them.  Worst they can say is no.  I haven't checked, but you might also try Numrich.
