AIPAC got it's feeling's hurt!!
« on: July 19, 2026, 03:41:13 AM »
NYT article. Seems AIPAC has shut down donations to some of the Democratic congressmen, that voted against the billion's dollar aid bill to Israel this past week. Hope they stand their ground. Need more Republicans to do the same. Need to vote no on that bill to combine our military intellegence with Israel's agency also. Have a hard enough time keeping secrets now.

No worries there will be enough republicans voting yes for the aid package. AIPAC has lots of money to hand out to get congressmen to vote how they want them to vote, and our congressmen have deep pockets. They are in congress to make as much money as they can. Its just what they do, and have been doing it for decades.

Lindsey Graham died with a net worth of less than $2 million. Most of it was in the value of his homes in DC and SC. They all must have a home in DC for work and another back home when they go to talk with their constituents. That has to set a record for honesty. Just looked it up, he was worth $1.4 million when he died.

Saw that and was pleasantly surprised.

Archibald and Kennedy have stated Track AIPAC's aim is to make working with AIPAC a political liability, and that they will endorse candidates who commit to rejecting donations from the Israel lobby, supporting Palestinian statehood, enforcing the Leahy Law and overturning Citizens United

Its one thing to give Israel billions of dollars. Its completely another issue when Israel influences our government.

Many if not most, congress persons and other politicians take money from lobbyists. ..And let's not kid ourselves, that money influences their votes !

Currently, congress is investigating the Covid fiasco, the terrible swindle it was, and the part played by 'Dr Death". So, lets look at Big Pharma .

I found a list of politicians who have licked up money from Big Pharma, and how much they sucked up!  .. Read at your leisure..

Did you read the list?  Some big money floating around, don't you agree.

Let's just consider...   What would a slippery politician do for an extra two or three million $$$ ?

No surprise then, that some politicians grow fabulously wealthy on a 170 thousand dollar paycheck, huh ?

Your right, but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Money coming from a foreign government, having dual citizenship with a foreign country, insider trading knowing how a vote in congress is going to turn out, my opinion, are all wrong and should be illegal. But your ok with one or the other? Why?

Sorry, but I must be missing your point. The discussion was concerning AIPAC donations , which led to AIPAC donations to politicians and on to Lobbyists.

So I posted a list I found, concerning how much money was grifted by politicians from both major parties, of which I am a member of neither.

So far as money from a foreign government (lobbyists), dual citizenship or insider trading, al those are reprehensible too. Knowing about how a congressional vote is likely to come out, is standard practice.
Right now all Washington is watching and counting the votes for and against the "big, beautiful bill".

Now, of all those categories, which one  am I in favor of ?

Guess your in favor of all of them. I don't think any should be allowed. Money is what's controlling our politicians, and they should be controlled by whats right for this country.

...Favor all of what, please clarify? You should clearly see in my last post, that I consider lobbyists, dual citizenship and insider trading as reprehensible.

Assessing possible election outcomes is mere speculation...so how would you stop it?

Iron, Trump took the 5th over 400 times in his fraud trial when he was convicted, I know you wouldn't want to remember that though in which his sons were also convicted.  I also remember the time I saw you at the NYS state fair when you were a blacksmith sitting there looking like you swallowed a cud of chewing tobacco.  I said something on the original site when it was a good web site and of course you denied it.  I enjoyed the site back then, now it isn't worth looking at, just a bunch of one-sided political lies.  Other than that, just carry on I won't bother you further.
Good Shooting,
George

Its no doubt in my mind now that the Israeli lobby owns our government and our government makes decisions based on the money they get from the Israeli lobby. Didn't realize it before but since we were drawn into the war by Israel its all become clear now. There is no more America first, which I honestly thought Trump was about. Its not hard to see now that Israel owns Trumps decisions. Or has some other influence over him. The Trump that preached no more wars is not the same Trump now.  Im not sure that I'm even going to vote in mid terms. Certainly not going to vote for democrats, and the republican party has further turned my stomach. So whats left to vote for?  Independents? Who will never win, because they don't have big money coming from places like the Israel lobby. Both partys keep driving inflation higher, keep raising the debt, keep getting us into foreign wars, and keep degrading the dollar. I'm sick of the republican's saying they will do one thing then continue on with business as usual.
Trump made a huge mistake going to war with Iran. The war he said was going to take a couple weeks has turned into a very costly forever war.  He thought by killing their leader they would raise a white flag and install a favorable government. Guess he thought it was going to be like Venezuela.  History should have taught him different.  On top of the Iran war, we are still funding Ukraine. The funding under the Biden administration legislation for Ukraine has still been going on.  Trump has even escalated the bombing in Somalia since taking office, which isn't even talked about anymore since we have been doing it for years.

George; I do hope  you noticed that I hurled no insults at you, and didn't expect to receive any either.

So far as my years at the state fair forge, but I didn't spend very much time sitting, being intent upon demonstrating and informing folks concerning smithing and the history thereof.

I don't have a clue what you are talking about in your reference to chewing tobacco, since I don't indulge in the smoking, drinking, or chewing habits.

Please inform me what you said on the original site, since I have no recollection of it, and would like to either, reinforce it or apologize.

Since Iran has been attacking or agitating against us for 47 years, I'm not sure how you call this one a "foreign war".  Unless, you mean because it's another country.  But, by that definition, any war that is not a "civil war" would be a foreign war.

Its no doubt in my mind now that the Israeli lobby owns our government and our government makes decisions based on the money they get from the Israeli lobby. Wow!  I'll need to see some receipts on that !

Didn't realize it before but since we were drawn into the war by Israel its all become clear now. There is no more America first, which I honestly thought Trump was about. Its not hard to see now that Israel owns Trumps decisions. It makes no difference that the Ayatollah and his cronies have been singing the tune of "death to America" for 47 years now ?  ..Or that one of their first outrageous acts, was to take our Teheran embassy captive? That alone should have been enough to initiate war? Then their disciples did that 9/11 thing ..  That should have been enough to get them a glass paved Teheran !

Trump has already overcome two antagonistic nations (Cuba/Venezuela) without war orcasualties.

Trump made a huge mistake going to war with Iran. The war he said was going to take a couple weeks has turned into a very costly forever war. I don't recall any 2 week promise, but 1.5 months of actual kinetic action, barely constitutes a "forever war", especially when compared to Vietnam or the Iraq/Afghanistan conflict !s (Cuba/Venezuela) without war or casualties. This attempt at persuasion has taken a bit longer, but with less casualties than Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan.

He thought by killing their leader they would raise a white flag and install a favorable government. To be fair, I doubt whether you or I know what he was thinking. Mind reading is still a parlor trick.

Guess he thought it was going to be like Venezuela. Not necessarily.

History should have taught him different. The long and short of it... History can be a fickle fellow, some wars are very extensive, while some are incredibly brief. Britain and France fought the, "hundred years war", while Trump's war with Venezuela was 49 minutes.

On top of the Iran war, we are still funding Ukraine. Better that when they finally prevail, Ukraine is an ally rather than an adversary.  Being helpful may be preserving our world hegemony.

The funding under the Biden administration legislation for Ukraine has still been going on.  Trump has even escalated the bombing in Somalia since taking office, which isn't even talked about anymore since we have been doing it for years.

There is good reason to spank the Somalis. They send their masses over here to rob us, as they are  doing in Dearborn and Minneapolis and other cities, while their home country is filled with outlaws and pirates. There seems to be a group there, that may be willing to clean the mess up, but they need help. If we stop them there, and they won't come here.  The crooked games they play in blue states and cities are likely more costly that an occasional butt kicking there.

Notice how Seal team 6 recently kicked Somali pirates' butts..  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvPxu194Zsg
