NYC at it's usual

Not a basketball fan. So don't pay to much attention unless something like this takes place. 1440 news article, NY Nicks have won their first NBA play off in 53 years. And, as usual, celebration for the victory gets out of hand, reported 6 school bus's set on fire, fights and some rioting, with 60 people arrested. I know things like this have happened in Chicago, LA and a couple other city's. Don't see hockey fans carrying on like this when their team wins the Stanley Cup! HMM-wonder why? (sarcasm off- ;D ;D ;D)
We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!!Remember(12/7/41)(9/11/01) gypsyman

Never could understand the violence associated with sports. In the stands, in the streets. There seems to be something seriously missing from these peoples lives to have them so infatuated with grown men playing with a ball. Pretty sad actually. The game is about entertainment, get over it.

Not surprised the race that was most involved in the riots. That race looks for reasons to cause disruption and chaos, and it had nothing to do with basketball, but just an opportunity.
