Yeah, that is the main issue. Campaign donations and Israel buying politicians in this country.  Its always about money.

Fortunately for some I still have my broken right wing, or I would undertake a more complete reply., offering facts,, non-facts and other data.
 
 First off, there should be a caveat issued, since these charges have never been authenticated. So far as I have researched, these Liberty accusations are just that,
  ACCUSATIONS; perhaps best left on the roost with other conspiracy theories !

  I am not taking on a debate as to whether it happened as said, or who was involved.  I do consider Massey's timing however !

   If he wants raw meat to butcher, why not consider the atrocities committed and being committed by the world's #1 terrorist nation, Iran? 

   Why got o ancient, by news standards history, an accusation once proclaimed but never proven ?  Interesting the sudden interest in an old accusation, when there is so much terrorism going on more recently, after all, the 9/11 attacks of 9/11/01, are much later news than that old, worn out conspiracy theory...say nothing of the brutal attacks on innocent Israeli civilians o 10/07/23...where infinitely more lives were lost, and captives taken.

   Usually anything read in congress is aimed at SOMEBODY, and we know Massey's dislike for Pres trump, but the Liberty incident has nothing to do with Trump ! Nor I doubt it has anything to do with anyone now serving, since that incident occurred 08/06/67..

    So, since he cannot be aiming at Trump, conservatives or congress in general, the only option left, seems to be that he simply hates Jews !

   ..Understandable,, since some have that hatred rather deeply ingrained....he's not alone, but he should pray, and get things right before he faces the Jewish carpenter !!

Oh, so if someone questions Israel they must hate Jews. Brilliant logic! That sure is painting with a broad brush. Also is there any difference between a country killing civilians in Israel, compared to Israel killing civilians in Lebanon?   We just don't dare question that or we are labeled a Jew hater, right?  Seems Trump was close to a deal with Iran, but Israel didn't want to see the war come to an end so they launched more missiles into Beirut.   

Couple highlights about the Liberty attack. It was a clear day. The American flag was flying on the Liberty, along with other detailed markings.
An EC-121 spy plane recorded multiple Israeli messages proving the Israeli pilots knew the Libertys nationality.   
The EC 121 also overheard Israeli torpedo boats mention an American flag on the Liberty.

   No, Israeli warts should not be overlooked, nor should those who would contest their 3,000 years of history (or His story) there on the Levant !

    So, why should one old, esoteric, unproven incident of 60 years ago, be the most important criteria by which to sing his his swan song ?

   Surely since the Carter screw up in 1979, some 47 years ago...and providing the source of terrorism since then, would be a more timely choice of discussion !

  Airplane hijackings, Lebanon barracks in 1983, where 241 were murdered, of which were 220 Marines, then also the attack on the twin towers in both 1993, and 2001 ..the latter being more successful.

    Can you as well condemn the very recent attack on a youth concert and innocent civilian kibbutzim, as recent as October 7, 2023 ?

  Being as the #1 terrorist state is under attack now, it would be assumed that any discussion of the more recxent attacks by this terrorist state would be a more pressing and cogent discussion.

    However, Massie can I suppose, be forgiven, since it may have been his last chance to lash out against Israel, and Trump supporting them..the only free country in that Arab/Israeli region.
