  Friday I fell on a concrete pad at my brother's house..broke my right hand. Off to see a surgeon on Monday.

  Yes, i am right handed, and this took much time to correct and complete.

Sorry to hear that Pete. I took a nasty fall onto pavement at the car dealership a month or so ago when I was down looking at the Lexus I now drive. I went down really hard on my right knee. It still hasn't recovered and hurts a lot. Doesn't seem to affect me walking but sure is painful. Luckily my head didn't hit and nothing was broken.

I fall a lot these days.

     I crushed my right hand back in 1998, could not type for a year, but got pretty good at most things
with my left hand from writing to throwing.

    What annoys me most, is as I got fairly good at using my left hand, BUT, once my right hand healed
     I did not use the Left Hand much any more and now  cannot do with it, what I once could do.
     Should not really bother me , but it does as it  is the old use it or lose it.

ive lived with a gimp left hand for 45 years. 762x39 bullet through the palm and missing my ring finger, hand is mostly numb ans all the muscles feel to tight and its hard to make a solid fist. id like to say you get used to it but it causes struggle to this day. oh well i guess it beats the hell ou of my buddy that took one in the spine and is paralized from the waste down and has lived with that for the same amount of time. one thing i learned from day one in my year stay at walter reed is you want to piss and moan but just look around. there's always someone that makes your injury's look like booboo's and pissing and moaning doesnt help the problem. you just have to eat the pain and get on with life

that left middle doesnt work well and wont straighten so i have to use my good right finger. used to suck on the bike because i had to let go off the throttle. new trike has cruise control so it will be much eaier!!
