Winter is not done yet.
« on: Yesterday at 01:55:39 PM »

The UP got hit with 3 feet of snow and Southwest of the Twin Cities they got 2 feet of snow.
I was amazed to hear one dude, probably in his thirties, saying he had never seen that much snow in Minnesota before.
Here we got 3-4 inches and my home town got 10 inches.   The nasty wind made it worse that it was.  I only shovel a few inches off of the
side walk but a set of steps we had on the boulevard were under a foot of snow top to bottom.

We are supposed to get another  2-3 inches tomorrow evening, followed by much warmer weather (sub-zero tonight) but back in 1965 when
we had record snow followed by record flooding, we had -13 below and three feet of snow followed by temps. in the fifties.
I hope more winters like this , or worse, to send the derelicts back to what ever area they came from. 8)

Snowing in northern Ohio and high winds. I enjoy the last gasps of winter still.

2.5 feet of snow sunday. i barely made it through in my kuboto blower. there were hard packed 5 foot drifts in the 2 driveways and all i could do was hiy them gain about 6" back up and hit them again. useually takes about 45 min to blow. i was out there over 4 yesterday and looking out the window it looks like just as much or more came testerday i have to deal with, dont mind the blowing as much as crawling through chest hig snow to get to the blower in the barn. dont know why i didnt leave it in the house garage yesterday. rel brain fart!!roads have been closed for 3 days and im not sure i have enough fuel in it today left to do that again, worse snowstorm ive seen up here. always said one in tthe early 70s was the worse but this one beat that
