Was just telling someone today about the winters of 77,78, and 79 today. I have to remember that many people didn't experience the winters in those years or at least were pretty young, and didn't have to deal with getting to work etc. I remember the high winds in 77 along with the snow, and the drifting closed roads.
We have had a number of consecutive mild winters, and now we are having a winter with more, snow and cold, and people don't know how to dress for it, or how to handle it. It amazes me the number of people that don't know how to dress for single digit temps, or below zero temps.
