The biggest problem is that most college professors are part of a government system. Minus private colleges. So they teach that the nations, and worlds problems are best solved by a government. A large majority of professors are leftists. Charlie Kirk said that 98% of professors donated to democrats and Harris's campaign. Federal spending for colleges in 2025 was 240 billion. In my sate of Pa. State government spent over 2 billion on college funding. Its no wonder the product colleges are turning out is very sub par from the education of the era of our founding fathers received.
I have a friend that is 70 years old, and is still paying on money borrowed for the college indoctrination his 3 daughters received.
It seems the mess that colleges are in, started long ago, it seems there has been a quality decline since the 1960s. IMO..the decline took a further dip when Obama encouraged the students to take advantage of LBJs program of a government guarantee of payment.
So what is the result? It appears that program had a deleterious effect, because Institutions raised their tuition cost astronomically.
Part seems to be the fault of the students opting for useless majors that have no intrinsic value or occupational promise !
How many jobs are open for sub Saharan lesbian dance specialists..or a major in 19th century French impressionist art ?
As I see it, certain graduates in legitimate fields are also in for a disappointment. If they have invested in certain white collar jobs that require the extensive use of
high tech and Ai, must consider that such can be handled overseas, in India, Malaysia or other..
Fact seems to be that such jobs as accountant can also be done in remote places. The ones that will do well (IMO), are the jobs that require the body to be in place HERE.
That includes almost all the trades, plus such things as medical, police, pharmacist and others that require that the subject be physically present.
