Mass shooting at Chanukah celebration down under..

 At least 11 killed and 29 wounded at a terrorist shooting at a Chanukah event on Bondi Beach in Australia..

   BBC report...  https://www.bbc.com/news/live/ckgk391yzm7t

  I thought Australians gave up their guns back in 1996, so things like this cannot happen.  It looks to me like the Aussies gave up their guns, so terrorists could more
    easily commit mass slaughter.

   Yes; he going for STUPID again ! He must know it does no good, but it SOUNDS good to the dimwits who will listen to him.

  The Rob Reiner  case proves that outlawing guns won't stop the killings ! So now I guess Gov New-scum will be outlawing paring knives...

Update;

   Australian authorities reveal Bondi Beach terrorist Naveed Akram, was ‘Australian-born’; previously under investigation for terrorist links.
The terrorist who carried out the massacre alongside his father was under investigation 6 years ago over terror links and extremism- but was cleared after a 6 month investigation in 2019 by the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation.
His father Sajid Akram, who also carried out the attack, arrived in Australia on a student visa in 1998 and then transferred in 2001 to a partner visa and had since been on resident return visas.

     The Muslim man who disarmed one of the shooters, was shot five times after disarming the shooter, but I have not found out who shot him.
