I think Marjorie Taylor Greene would make a great Governor for the state of Georgia. I believe the only hope this country has in Becoming Great again, is in the hands of the States. The corruption at the federal level is too big to topple by voters.

The difference between the two parties is simply a power struggle between the two oligarchies. a form of government in which power is concentrated in the hands of a small group of individuals, often distinguished by wealth, nobility, family ties, or corporate influence. Most Reps. could care less about us Taxpayers. Well, they do like the money!

Sounds exactly why April 12th 1861 occurred. STATES RIGHTS! If we forget HISTORY, we are condemned to repeat it.

The "lobbyists" for the "industrialized north" bought the Republican power in office and pushed Southern Agriculture demanding price control for their product, mainly at the time, cotton, and other textiles.
Warned by the founders of "the party system", the democrats, and Republicans, have proven to be historically corrupt.

In 1865 the Washington crowd wrote their "own version of history", and Northern folks swallowed it "hook line and sinker", and now its happening all over again. With slightly different issues used, but identical intentions. DIVIDE AND CONQUER.

Well guys, I live a district away from Green's district.

IMO, she's a nut.  Some of the things she said are just ridiculous.

I can't say I'm surprised she quit, as wishy washy as she's been lately.

Did you read this article? I read it even though the opinion I found to be very far left and made me ill.
Talking about climate change this and climate change that, mask wearing, blah, blah, blah, if Trump would have tried to stop the spread of the virus instead of blah, blah, bullsh.t… The author of this article is a whack job.

Not to sure about the space laser's being used to start the wildfires is what she said, and of course the ''journalist'' turned that around in the article. There are space generators out there if you check.  But she did hit it on the head with ''where did billions go for the high speed rail'', and Gov. Brown letting the insurance company off,PG&E, conveniently from paying out damage's from their pocket, and charging all customers for the increase. Kinda like my car insurance going up, because my neighbor got in a wreck. What I got out of the article, a left wing publication doing a hit piece on a conservative.

Marjorie Taylor Greene unleashed a rambling, profanity-laced Thanksgiving Eve tirade on X, tearing into Republican men and claiming she could be "assassinated like Charlie Kirk."

The unhinged Georgia Republican erupted after conservative commentator Mike Cernovich urged her to finish her congressional term, fulfill her pledge to the citizens that voted for her, instead of resigning in January.

"You need to serve out your full term," Cernovich wrote, triggering Greene's volcanic reply.

She fired back: "Oh I haven't suffered enough for you while you post all day behind a screen?"

Greene then escalated sharply and invoked Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk in one of her most shocking lines to date.

"Do I have to stay until I'm assassinated like our friend Charlie Kirk. Will that be good enough for you then?" she wrote.

"Sh*t posting on the internet all day isn't fighting."

She pushed again: "Get off YOUR a** and run for Congress."

"I fought harder than anyone in the real arena, not social media," she added.

"Put down your little pebbles and put your money where your mouth is."

The eruption comes just days after Greene stunned Washington by announcing she will resign from Congress on Jan. 5, 2026.

Greene, once a top MAGA firebrand, had been locked in a bitter feud with President Donald Trump in the weeks leading up to her resignation.

She claimed she stepped down to avoid making her district "endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me" by Trump.

Trump publicly blasted her as a "ranting lunatic," a "traitor," and a "disgrace" to the Republican Party.

Greene claimed his attacks were dangerous.

"This puts blood in the water and creates a feeding frenzy," she wrote. "And it could ultimately lead to a harmful or even deadly outcome."

Her fury at Cernovich soon expanded into an even broader, more profane attack on Republican men, accusing them of treating her like a housewife who should be silent.

"Typical of Republican men telling a woman to 'shut up get back in the kitchen and fix me something to eat,'" she wrote on her congressional account.

She followed with her most widely shared line of the night: "F*** you in the sweetest most southern drawl I can enunciate."

When Greene first got elected I thought she was just what we needed.   Then she showed up and disrupted the house along with perhaps a dozen other far right wing extremist, in an attempt to get what they wanted and failing to realize they couldn't get it all and not settling with 80%.  It's politics, you got to get what you can get when you can get it.

Just like the left has their nut jobs, so does the right, and frankly, I think there's more sensible people in her district that will perhaps fill her seat.  It's a 70% red district historically, so it's very unlikely the dems are going to take the seat..

I'm disappointed with the republicans.  I've voted against the democrats all my life, but it's hay season, and they need to make hay, not fight among themselves.  Mid terms approach and historically the minority party takes either the house or the senate.  Get things done now and quit the in fighting.

That's one thing about the democrats, they'll fight like heck but then they vote as a block.  The republicans, not so much, poor leadership IMO.

The earliest the election can happen would be Febuary.  So we're looking at maybe 60 days with the seat unfilled.

I think this is a good thing.  Heck, Trump called her a lunatic.

I guess you being from there you would be a better judge of Green than me most likely. I'll have to concede to that as I only have the news media whom totally distrust.

Check out her voting record! She's more conservative than 90 percent so called republicans. Most have become Rino's in DC.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a staunch advocate for Second Amendment rights and has consistently opposed gun control legislation, which she views as infringing on constitutional freedoms. She believes the right to bear arms is a God-given right essential for self-defense and protection against a tyrannical government.

On Abortion
“Abortion is not health care. It’s not. It’s murder. Health care saves lives.

On free speech

Marjorie Taylor Greene has consistently emphasized the importance of free speech, often framing it as under threat. In a recent appearance on The View on November 4, 2025, she advocated for greater civility and open dialogue, stating that respectful exchange of ideas is essential to healing national divisions and that such discourse exemplifies the spirit of free speech.

Greene has voted for conservatism across the board. What got MTG into trouble was her criticizing Trump and others about getting entangled in the politics of other countries. (Nation Building) Like Sending American troops to countries like South Africa, Venezuela, and getting involved in Israel's conflicts and the war between Russia and Ukraine.

She believes he should be putting America first. Spending the taxpayers money here! Not nation building around the world. She was a huge Trump supporter from day one, but believes he is getting more and more away from the issues that got him to office. Some of us agree with her. She and a few others in the Republican party have disagreed with him, and are paying the price for doing so.

But if you folks want to throw her under the bus for making a few stupid comments.....Do so. But Hell, Remember Trump opens his mouth and does it all the time.

She goes on the View, and many of you are in disbelief, But Trump invites communist Mayors (From the east coast) to the W.H. and that's OK? Tucker Carlson interviews a Nationalist on his podcast, and he catches hell from the right! Folks need to start reading between the lines here! You can't tout freedom of speech, but only apply it to someone who agrees with your version.

I hope she stays in politics at the local level. Like running for governor. She is too honest to be a Rep in DC! JMO!

Freedom Of Speech.....Once we lose it, every other freedom will follow.

Well if she is such a staunch believer in America she should at least finish her term for her people! Doesn't do any good quitting when her term isn't up. Doesn't show she's capable of anything if shes a quitter. IMO.

Her voting on issues say's she's a firm believer in America first. Many of her fellow Reps records should be as rock solid.
I don't know why she decided to quit before her term is up. Perhaps she woke up with her favorite horses head in bed with her! Stuff happens in DC. Perhaps President Trump called her, and said.....YOUR FIRED"

Actually we would be a lot better off with a congress full of MTG's. Instead the republican party is filled with war mongers, money spenders, and of course RINO's.
