Home owner gets charged for shooting

Another instance where a home owner is charged for shooting someone that broke into his home.

 Seen several other cases like this. Court/legal system has gone political, and ignoring the law as it's written. Stand your ground means exactly that, and when somebody is breaking into your house at 1am, pretty sure their up to no good. But, lawyers and judge's don't make money if they lock up the bad guy, and look politically correct by charging the bad guy.

That failed to answer a few questions.  Is that garage attached or detached?  If attached, then yes, it's home invasion.  If detached, then it's strictly a property crime, and the family wasn't in any immediate danger, and he shouldn't have confronted the perp, (legally speaking).  Shooting at the others that were running away was a stupid NO-NO, and he's likely going to get punished for that.  He MIGHT be able to get the charges reduced for the initial shooting.

Now, the above being said, I side with the shooter, in that they were committing a crime, and deserved what they got.  However, legal charges aren't decided by us......they're decided by arresting officers and local prosecutors.
