Dug through the chest freezer
« on: September 18, 2025, 02:05:34 PM »
Found a large porterhouse :) now I’ll buy one more and me and son can have strip and daughter and wife can have filet Saturday. Went in there to get my deer meat out of the bottom. Around 7 to 10#’s of steak and around 10#’s of roast/ stew etc meat :) and lucky me, deer season around der corner…

Every now and then I'm tempted to kill a deer during the season. Really can't call it huntin, because they're used to seeing my ranch truck every day, and I carry a Sig AR  for predators. Last 2 big muleys I killed I shot out of the pickup window. I guess I should get a huntin license in case I see a big buck.

The more time I spend in a area the less I’d call it hunting because eventually I find out where they’re at and where they’re going. All the hunting eventually ends up that way until I can no longer hunt that property and the hunting starts all over again. I do know some areas that are public down south but I want to stay relatively close to home. I consider myself the house dog..
