And there you have it. So goes the state, when liberal New Yorkers elected their ultra-liberal governor, and now Mamdanis' NYC mayorship is in the bag.
If I were their states police, and firemen, I'd be hunting new work territory.

Well to tell you the truth it doesn't surprise me. One of, if not, the most politically screwed up states in the US. She is as dingy as the Minnesota screwball. I think if I was a citizen of New York I would be selling and getting the hell out of there.

  No way I can deny it...NY is screwed up, and it is all due to the clinky-headed residents of that big sewer down there about 400 miles southeast of where I live...and
   they live even further intellectually, from folks around here.

   As many here see it, Hochul is  nothing but a rubbewr stamp for the zaniest wing of the Democrat party..something Cuomo selected to act a manakin lieut. governor
  for him.

   This time she may face a more principled competition, since it appears Elise Stefanik may be running against her. Elise's political stance in congress, seems to be
     much like Jim Jordan of Ohio, or Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee...

 Wonder if the voting districts in NY are as screwed up as Ca. or for that matter, how bad Texas was. When you have districts drawn up to favor one party over the other instead of what's right, things like this are going to keep happening. When you have a small area in a state like NY or CA. controlling the majority of the state, bad things happen.

 When she became governor in 2021, she started doing what Whitmer in Michigan, and Walz in Minn., were doing. Since the hospitals were supposedly overflowing with Covid patients, they started putting them in nursing homes. The people with the lowest level immune system, over 65 crowd. Look up what age group has the highest level of dying from Covid. Could they have died from it anyway, possibly. But adding fuel to the fire doesn't put it out. And visiting a friend of mine a short time ago, whose in a rehab center, if a nursing home is half as bad as that rehab I was in, no wonder people die so quickly in those places.
