I drank a LOT of Ensure and other similar products last year.
The local thrift store was selling cases which were priced so you paid 1/3 the price per bottle if you bought it by the bottle.
The thrift clearance store has it own clearance isle and there they were theoretically dirt cheap.

They had single bottles, same brand as a case for from Two and one half to Three and quater dollars per bottle.
Some brands do taste far better than others but I never paid attention to which brand was best.
You are supposed to use them as part of a meal, but I never got that in my system.

Last doctor visit they said to
start utilizing it.
Not particularly fond of it, but
if it'll keep me out of the hospital
I'll use it. I don't like tuna either,
but after they said to eat more of
it I did. It's helped some but I still
don't like it

Today I sorta had an old fashioned breakfast - bacon, eggs, toast and coffee.
The only abnormal part was, one egg was a goose egg; a LOT of yoke in a goose egg.

Today, I had buttermilk waffles (I use buttermilk for the liquid) with butter and maple syrup on them, with a tall glass of milk.

I'll add a little story to this.

When I about 10 yrs old, they were building a new church about 10 miles from here and having a rummage sale to make some money for it. My mom and dad took my brother and me to that sale and mom gave me 50 cents to spend. I walked all over that sale, and I found an old GE electric waffle iron, and they wanted 50 cents for it. For some reason I wanted it bad, so I ran back and asked mom if I could buy it, and she asked, "are you sure that's what you want", I said YES, so she told me to go it.

That was over 60 years ago, and I made my waffles with it this morning!
