It's happening..as predicted..

  When the Biden bunch took office, regular gasoline around here wa s about $2.00..

  Just a month and a half later, it is already up to $2.65 !

  A word to the wise..if you have an economy car, keep it!  If you are buying a new car, consider an economy model.

  During the Jimmy Carter "gas crisis", starting in 1973..economy cars were hard to find, and those which became
available, were selling at a premium !

I don't think it took a crystal ball to figure this out. I'll keep my full size truck, you can have your little gas saver.

  That's fine, we have 'free choice" in America...at least for the present time... ;)  ;D

  BTW: My present vehicle is not considered either a gas miser, nor a gas waster, I was only offering a bit of economic history !

Well I just got my 1978 Olds Delta 88 back from the body shop, but after using a loaner 2004 Impala, I once again see why I used to have two cars, one was the quasi-truck beater car.
It would be nice to have that Impala econo-box for putzing around town but right now I do not have a few hundred bucks for a beater car.

I figure I have a full size truck. Rather than having 2 different vehicles with more insurance and maintenance why bother and just byte the bullet and buy the expensive gas for it. We all knew old Biden was going to raise gas. No surprise there. If I offended you IG, sorry. Sure offended fatercat.

Yeah for the time being.
Someone suggested yesterday that Trump should run for the house of representatives.
He could win easily there in Florida, and if we take back the house in 2022, he would be a shoo-in for speaker and he could give biden his middle finger when he tried to push his communist agenda.

Well, since most of the oil refineries are in Texas, and a huge winter storm shut them down. I'm hoping gas prices might ease up a bit when they open back up.

  I hope as well because they are starting to increase rapidly here. Might have to start using gas additive with regular in my gas guzzler.
