He started the GUNBLAST site.
I  sold, either he or his brother Boge, two revolvers some years back, memory is going to pot.
The good ones are dying.

he was what i call a sort of friend. Him and boge came up every year to visit my best friend Al. Jeff and i shared in the fact he was our best friend. Him and his brother Boge are both great guys. I could sit for 10 days and not come up with one negative thing to say about either. The world is less without him.

I guess I musta quit the gun rags before he started writing. I have never heard of him, so I had to look him up.

he didnt write in gun magazines. He had a web site called gun blast where he would review guns and ammo.

I read so many of his reviews over the years, he was a wealth of knowledge. He was a fellow southpaw which was always extra helpful to me because sometimes there are right handed guns out there that just plain suck for us. RIP Jeff.

he like his brother boge were rare in the gun industry. Honest and with no ego. Ill add John Linebaugh and Jim Taylor to that list too. Never heard a bad word spoke against any of them.

I didn't know him at a personal level, but I enjoyed his website and gained much from it.  He certainly seemed to be fair and even handed in his gun related talk.
I recall him speaking about buying a Henry .22 mag, complete with laser engraved stock, for his preacher Dad.
