Eating while moving
« on: May 21, 2020, 11:28:09 AM »
I've been looking at different things to eat while  E&E'ing for quite a long while, and recently considered some thick foil packaged tuna I saw at the store. I should say right here that I personally can't stand tuna, but the DR told me to start eating it, so I do. Anyway, I thought those pouches might be an option for throwing in the pack for an emergency bite to eat while on the move. They're packaged really well, and I think they'd hold up well in the pack. The drawback so far is the crappy taste of the varieties I've tried. I bought the deli style tuna salad, and the ranch, and the lemon pepper. I was disappointed in the lemon pepper most of all because I was sure it would be half decent, but it was probably the worst out of what I tried. I guess something that tastes objectionable would be a whole lot better than an empty stomach, but I'll keep looking for something decent. Just me, I'd say save your money if there's something better to be had

I tried the sweet and spicy, and it's more
or less about the same as the others. It'd
be something to eat on an empty stomach
is about as I could say for it
