Baseball sign stealing
« on: January 16, 2020, 12:26:43 PM »
This has been a genuine problem in Baseball since before WWII.
It was not until the past twenty or so that they are getting more serious in dealing with it.From the stories the Yankees lost the 2017 Series due to sign stealing, not a bad thing really,  :-* , but because it was the Yankees suddenly the League is getting all huffed up.
Having done some reading it they had sophisticated methods to do it a long, long time ago already.

Basebball season starts the end of this month, let the good times roll. 8)
I am hoping the Minnesota Twins were not a one time wonder.
It has been 29 years since they have not been a playoff bad joke.

They start regular games in less than two weeks; there was a bunch of blah, blah, blah about sign stealing Astros on line before Spring Training but most think that will fade quickly once season starts.Watched my first pre-season game  on TV a couple of days ago, may catch a few more before the season starts.
