Bream fishing in Santee river?
« on: May 19, 2011, 08:42:27 AM »
Hey guys.  Just curious if anyone has any opinion on this.  I typically bass fish, occassionally panfishing, and mostly on the Cooper River - water is relatively clean and clear there.  Next weekend however I'm going out camping on the Santee River, and taking a few friends who don't fish too often.  I figured we'd go for bream given the situation.

Anybody got any tips on what the fish have been hitting over there?  Back in my "home waters" (Cooper) I get a ton of strikes on the smallest Comet Mino but last time I took one of those to Santee it wasn't so productive.

Thanks for any advice offered.
